She finished her Medical degree at the University of Birmingham in 2008. She then worked as an anatomy teacher for medical and dental students. Later, she focused on Ophthalmology, specialising in eyelid & cataract surgery and completing her training at the Wales Deanery, with Mr Dan Morris and Mrs Anjana Haridas. She obtained a Fellowship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 2020. To expand her skills, she underwent specialist training in lid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery at renowned hospitals including Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Tina has honed her skills through rigorous training, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Functional and Clinical Anatomy from the University of Birmingham. She has also dedicated herself to the pursuit of education, earning a teaching certificate for higher education. With a fervent commitment to teaching, Tina serves as the Ophthalmology examinations lead for Wales and Educational supervisor training eye surgeons. Her expertise extends beyond medical education, as evidenced by her published journal articles, book chapters, and presentations at esteemed international conferences.

Tina has spent many years enjoying the friendly atmosphere and beautiful scenery of Wales. She loves going to the gym and playing badminton to balance out her passion for cooking and food. She also enjoys crafting and cherishes the time she spends with her friends and family.
